Sony Direct 2/18/13 - What They Did Wrong

So it's been a long time since the previous Game Heaven (Hell), but Sony today finally did another one. And what do you know?
It sucked. For many reasons.
I'll introduce and explain each one I could find, but if you are a Sony fanboy and find offense to negative comments on Sony, then I do not suggest continuing. If you are part of SCE, tell your idiot president in JP to get his act together if there is a next time. Why did I write this article? Probably because it was so bad, I had to get some of this pity out.
In general, what I plan to say is half-constructive, not purely to poke fun at SCE for no reason.
And you know, it's a short lesson on how not to present.

Famitsu's Recently Entertaining Article

It's nothing horrible compared to what Sankei and Zakkei and those gossip papers do, but Famitsu has had their shares of bad rumors. But aside from that, the wonderfully professional Famitsu made a funny mistake in a recent article, so I'd like to introduce it. Nothing great, but maybe worth a laugh.

My... laptop died............ I had two, one for work and one for hobbies, but the hobby one (older one) died today. It's been at least 4 years, probably around 6 or 7, so it was about time though.
And I realized that, so I had backed up important stuff.
But still... sad... Need to get another one...... (´；ω；｀)

Finally got the time to post this notice...
But I finally got a new game! Well, it is true I recently got Age of Kings for the DS, but that's a different story. I did finish the Story Mode in Age of Kings, so I'll post about that once I enter break and get to use my family's iPhone (I don't have one personally).

Anyways, so the game I bought was...

Culdcept 3DS - Aether Flash

The newest download card has arrived, Aether Flash!

This card is a Multi-Curse card, 50G.
It casts a Curse on all players, which causes the cost of all creatures to be 90G. At the same time, Discard and Territory Requirements are ignored. This lasts 6 turns, but 7 counting the turn you use it.

For some reason, this card was announced about 4 or 5 days ago. But then it was taken off until yesterday.
For some reason, this card actually APPEARED in the Random Book Jyakyou (Gimley's book), before this card was downloadable

PuyoPuyo 20th Complete(?)!

It actually isn't the type of game to "complete", but well, got "S" rank on all Story characters and bought everything in the shop including hidden material, so in a way, it is complete. All that is left is to slowly enjoy the game?

 

Culdcept Dictionary

And so I have finished the dictionary, oh it took so long, so many cards.
But I was able to get the Javascript working and everything looks fine, as far as I can tell.

The main reason I started on this dictionary is because the main English site for Culdcept, Culdcept Central, does not list 1st and 2nd's card effects (just the Expansions), and it required several windows to compare the ability of certain cards throughout the series.
A Japanese site exists that allows easy comparison, but not only is that not in English, but there are noticeable mistakes.

Some things I must point out:

• Every series except Mobile is included, including the original 1st and 2nd, which Culdcept Central does not list (there are differences between cards between original and Expansions!)
• I mainly used information from the JP Culdcept Wiki which in turn uses PROPHECY 
•  However, there are mistakes in PROPHECY's database
• When I noticed something strange, I checked in other places to get the correct information
•  I did not follow the wording of each card in my translations
• This is because the wording changes between games, yet have the same effect.
• Or sometimes the original wording itself is hard to understand
• In this case, to my possible ability, I researched the correct effects
• For instance, Polestar's Culdcept 1st's description says "HP=1", but actually, HP=1 only when negation of damage occurs. In this case, I used my own wording for this dictionary
• For now, I do not have the dictionary split into each game, but only each category, by alphabetical order
• This dictionary is made with Bootstrap, but the boxes are a bit small and some parts may be cut off. I plan to figure out a design to fix this. 
• The way the games are listed are by the generation. 1st, 1stEx, DS (remake of 1stEX), Saga, 2nd, 2ndEX, 3DS (remake of 2ndEX)

There could be mistakes I didn't realize, perhaps because of a silly error on my part or perhaps from PROPHECY I did not realize.
If you (reader) find something wrong I did not realize, please tell me! I'll be searching for them myself as I try to improve this dictionary.
