Azur Lane First Anniversary Art Collection book arrives!

As you can see from the image, I also got the new box of WIXOSS, but I have been a little busy lately, so I have not opened it yet. I will soon though, so an article will be made then.
Also, I've been using the holidays to catch up on my reading of Love Lab. Yes, I bought the actual books a while back.
And yes, I have been busy with Smash Bros, but I think we all have.

In the meantime, I wanted to just introduce some of the content of the Azur Lane book. Obviously, the quality of the photos are not great, so buy it and read it in person if you want to see the content in high quality.
Oh, and I guess this article is NSFW? I mean, this is Azur Lane.

And in conclusion, I think it is a good fan collection item, so do buy it if you can.

First off, what you see in the image on the top is actually a cover of sorts. And inside is the actual book. The illustration is also slightly different, as you can see.
It is pretty big, BTW. With no doubt, it is not something you can hold and flip through with one hand.

The book first starts off with illustrations of all of the characters up to... September of this year?
As the book is huge, the illustrations are also so. It also comes with their introduction line and existing retrofits.

The characters are split by their side and country, BTW. And there are a few illustrations in the book that are just for this book, such as this image below.
On a random note, until her swimsuit skin, some people thought Deutschland had small breasts because she is loli-ish appearance-wise.

The large size of the illustrations really... puts to scale? certain characters like below, whose weaponry is so big, it is hard to see in-game.

Of course, the Sirens are in it too. Unlike the above, since they are not in the in-game dictionary (and thus you cannot use the viewer), there is no way to see the full artwork outside of this book?

The skins are all grouped together after the character introductions.
Also, as shown below, the Togata artwork in this book is the censored version. Yes, an uncensored version exists that shows off her panties, but I do not currently have a link.
And yes, apparently it is so erotic (this might not be the actual reason), even the JP version had to censor it.

After the skins, you get the illustrations, which include load screens, events, etc. There are some that I have never seen before, so it is possible that these include region-specific loading screens too?

After that, you get descriptions of each side and their countries. I think there are some new information here that are not covered in-game and in official descriptions elsewhere?

Next, you get some more "realistic" information, such as descriptions on sister ships as well as the year of their launch date. I don't believe any of this information is useful in-game, but it is always nice to learn a bit on stuff the game is based off of, right?

Also some stuff on the fictional/incomplete ships.
I actually didn't know Z46 was part of this group.

And finally, at the end, you have some concept artwork. This isn't for all characters though. Just some.
