New Game! Pokemon Pokopia!

I actually do not play sandbox games, so this is more or less a first for me for the genre

But I hear good things about it, so definitely looking forward to it. Also, one of my favorite Pokemon is Alakazam and according to Serebii, he shows up

And yes, looking forward to Pokemon Champions too

New Game! Kibry Air Riders

This is actually my first physical copy Switch 2 game, since I bought Pokemon through the Catalog Ticket and Mario Kart through the bundle. The game supports Japanese if you use a Japanese account anyways, even if the package is English

Anyways, I've actually never played the original GC game, so totally looking forward to it, even though for racing, I'd choose Mario Kart. The City Trials mode is definitely more unique and fun though, probably would focus on that for online

New Game! Pokemon Legends: ZA!

Dang, over half a year since my last article. But it kinda really is just that. There haven't really been any games I wanted to buy. Nintendo was saving their power for the Switch 2, so Nintendo wasn't releasing much either. Spending my time getting back into eroge, kinda continuing playing a few gacha games, though not spending as much money or time.
Since I'm not buying Fire Emblem anymore, Langrisser Mobile and Sword of Convallaria have done good to scratch my SRPG itch.

But here I am, with a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World. Forgot to make an article about that. And now my 2nd Switch 2 game, Pokemon Legends ZA. Of course, as a Pokemon fan. I actually used a catalog ticket to buy the Switch version, then payed for the upgrade.

The unique gameplay surprisingly works, and with the new format of move speed and evasion, it really shakes up what moves are strong or weak.

And as you can see, loving the customization. Sucks that there still are no real skirts, but hey, I can do hotpants too. I have a foot fetish, so obviously going to give my protagonist leggings. I was looking for straight, long black hair, but they only had long curly hair, so I chose ponytail instead for now. Kawaii

Still Alive and Recently Playing

Dang, it's already been half a year since my last post? I swear, once you reach a certain age, time just flies by...

A few more images than usual, so gonna add a jump break and put this on a separate page.

Currently in Middle of Playing Pokemon Violet!

It's been 3 months since my last post, so I just wanted to note I am currently playing the new Pokemon. Haven't finished the story yet, since I also enjoy watching other people play and stuff, but I think I have my final party ready. Golduck just because he is the only Shiny I have found so far.

Also, man, I got the pantyhose but really wish there were cuter options for the rest. It's obvious from the other characters in the game that not wearing the default school uniform is allowed.

And Another New Game! \(o ̄▽ ̄o)/

And of course, this one!

I wanted to buy the JP version, but for some reason, the JP version costs 100$ while the localized version costs 60$. I really would prefer reading the JP text over the English one, but when there is a whopping 40$ difference... I can't ignore that. And there is at least Japanese audio.

I mean, if there was no JP idea, I definitely would have been forced to buy the JP version, so thank gosh. I still have to deal with the localized names and skills and stuff though, but sure, I'll take that and keep my 40$. Also, the steelbook thing is kinda cool.

New Game! ╭( ・ㅂ・)و̑

A bit late to make this post, but got Mario Party Superstars a couple days after it was released!

Mario Party isn't exactly one of those games that I care about the language, so I just bought it from the nearest store. Although it automatically changes its in-game language if you use a JP account, so pretty much the same anyways.

I haven't actually bought Mario Party since like, 6 or 7, since they kept on adding weird gimmicks like character specific dices and riding in a car together, but this one does not do any of that, and FINALLY, it has online random matches. No more do you need to find friends or family that want to play video games with you!

From my experience so far, as long as all players can play to the end without anyone's connection dropping (because fighting against stupid AI is boring) and everyone uses stamps in good manner, it is really fun. 15 turns is surprisingly long, around an hour or a bit more average, but still great as long as everyone is having fun.

Also, it's Mario Party, so I'm not gonna bother writing a review. Good ol' Mario Party. What I said at the top is pretty much what I want to say.

Hopefully they will have a few free updates that add new maps?

Finally my new games arrive!

I'm not gonna say who, but I ordered and I chose Express, but apparently that counts as Economy too, since everything got shipped through Economy, and I had to wait until today to get my items. Yeah, I will definitely think twice before I order physical products from your store next time.

Anyways, I bought several games this time. So I'm gonna use a Read More to stuff all of the images inside.

Of course I bought it! ( ・´ー・`)

I've been too busy actually playing the game, but of course I bought Xenoblade DE on its release day.
Well, technically, I used my remaining Nintendo Ticket (the thing you buy and can later trade for games) to DL it.
Since I've already beaten the game before (in the original version), I went ahead and am playing through the new additional scenario.

New Game!

This should bide me until Xenoblade.
I did play the trial version, so I am continuing off of it.

I actually intended to get the physical, English version, but Gamestops nearby apparently didn't have this game in-stock.
So... Yeah, thanks, Gamestop. You are truly useful.

Also, unrelated, but I did beat the Ice Dragon/Ruler in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 before Trials of Mana came out.
So I guess I can say that I tried post-game, at least?
And... He didn't drop any item, even though he could drop three types. Nice.

New Games! (`・ω・́)

There are a few big games I plan to buy this year, but as of now, I've been enjoying some smaller games.

The first one I bought is Gunvolt Striker Pack, which is a collection of two Gunvolt games. To be honest, I've never really played these types of games before (not even Megaman), but I've had interest in it before and I saw it 50% off, so I decided to take this opportunity to try it.
I don't know too much about this genre, but I personally think 50$ is too much. I bought it at 25$, which still feels a bit too high.

The next one is Prison Princess.
Similarly to Gunvolt, I've never really played the Escape Game genre before, but here is a Switch-only one with lots of fanservice, so hey, a good opportunity. It was also sold slightly cheaper if you bought it before the game's release.
By the way, this one is localized too.

Hmm...

I found an online sale for the two, so I went ahead and bought them.
I had interest in World End Syndrome before, but I didn't really feel like buying it due to the price. So it being sold cheaply was a good opportunity.
I know that Etrian Odyssey Mystery Dungeon 2 is pretty bad... But it was considerably cheap, so hey, might as well get it. The gameplay isn't horrible. Just... the... text...

Oh, BTW, the localized websites:

I do not believe Dungeon 2 was localized.
And that is for the best, perhaps. *looks far away*

\( 'ω')/ New/Next Game!

Mary Skelter 2 by Compile Hearts.
My friend suggested Mary Skelter (the 1st game) to me, and hey, its Compile Hearts. It won't be a masterpiece, but they usually deliver to their audience. They wouldn't just randomly decide to use an otome artist like some other game.
Also, it seems Mary Skelter 2 comes with a remade version of Mary Skelter 1, and 2 comes before 1 story-wise.

I like the character designs by the way. Reminds me of the character designer for the game that brought about the uma-uma-uma meme from a while back, but I think it is a difference person...?

By the way, I like buying the physical versions of games, but it is lonely when they don't even bother to put in a short pamphlet, like Toushin Toshi. I mean, come on, you have this huge box but nothing but a small chip?

It's been a while, but a new game! ( ・`ω・´)キリッ.

It's my first Langrisser ever, so I'm pretty excited. Since both Advance Wars and Fire Emblem are dead, so it is kinda my part of trying to find a new interesting SRPG.

Unfortunately, I don't think the remake version new artwork is that good, so I am planning to play everything in Classic mode, which uses the original artstyle.
The only unfortunate thing about using the original art is that the bodies are cut half -way (so when you hide the text window, they only have the upper part of their body) and none of the event CG (new artworks) show up.
Of course, this is due to the original game not having those stuff, so it can't be helped.

And yes, the original artist is Urushihara Satoshi.
You don't know him for some reason? Just search.
...But beware if you have the R-18 filter turned off, because he also does a lot of those stuff.

New Game! (´・ω・`)!

Moero Chronicle Hyper, by Compile Heart.
Sure, I really enjoy quality games like Xenoblade and Octopath Traveler, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy these types of... umm... trashy games?

Anyways, apparently this is an updated version of the original... on the Vita, I think. As for Compile Hearts themselves, my impression of them is that they make mediocre-at-best otaku games.
And as with all of the "Playstation" companies that acted like they would die if they released their games on a Nintendo console, I do feel amused when I see them releasing games on the Switch.

Anyhow, the main reason that convinced me to buy this game is that it was on 30%-off sale before release. This means it was around 25$. Well, even if it is Compile Hearts, surely the game will at least be worth 25$, right?
So yeah, I decided to give it a try. Fingers crossed that it will not only be a delicious fanservicy game, but just simply be an enjoyable game. Kinda like Stardust Amazoness.

Oh, and while it is of a different genre, I still think Toushin Toshi has one of the better balances between fanservice and gameplay.

(゚Д゚) New Game!

Nurse Love Addiction... is what I believe is the localized title.

It actually has been quite a while... like, a really long time since I played a story-based visual novel. Like... since _summer? Hmm...
I'm not particularly into yuri, but it was on sale for 50% off (around $20) and I had some level of interest in it, so I took the chance to buy it.

Yes, ports and hand-me-downs are not my top priority, but I do take the chance to get interesting ones when they are on discounted sale.

Still playing Hyrule Warriors
Still, technically, playing Densetsu no Ogre Battle

(´・ω・`) New Game!

It's been almost a month since my last post?
...Time flies and now I feel old...
As of now, I am trying to unlock all of the Gold Machine Parts in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and slowly playing Densetsu no Ogre Battle, even though I don't really like it that much.

Anyways, this time I got

Yeah, kinda a boring choice.
I myself have played/completed:
Links Awakening (GBA)
Oracle of Times/Season (GBA AND 3DS Virtual Console)

So I'm not that big of a Zelda fan. And I'm definitely not a fan of Warrior games, and I find this company funny because all they can pretty much do is leec... I mean, collaborate with other companies and make Warrior games from them.
But you know, I haven't played any of the Hyrule Warrior games before and this comes with all of the DLC stuff from the previous versions (yeah, there are already three versions of this game), and like with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I felt it was a good time to at least try it.
...And yes, the female Link character is cute. No, just stay in this game.

New games! ( ゚Å゚;)

Yeah, you know that feeling of getting more and more new games without finishing the one you are on and it just piles up...

Finishing Up:
Fire Emblem: Thracia

To Do:
Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey
Corpse Party
Ogre Battle (VC)
Island Days

To Buy:
Xenoblade 2

Anyways,
The new games I got were the recently released Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey and a quite old Island Days.
I've never played the original Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, so I am going into the game blind.
The only reason I bought Island Days was because it was at a huge discount, only costing $15. And I like School Days. Oh, and it came with the order bonus... that was probably for the limited edition. Meaning... so few people bought it that they still had the limited edition thing available? That wouldn't be a surprise though.

BTW, I will rant about School Days in another post because... *sigh* Anyways, I'll leave that for that.
Inside the "Read More" covers some parts of the Island Days order bonus.

BTW, Island Days is supposed to be one of those Tower Defense things + visual novel.

New Game! ( ゚∀゚)

Arc System's Seisou no Amazoness!
I've had a level of interest in the game since it came out, but I never really got to buying it. But now that it's been 3+ years since its release, I've been waiting for a discount to buy it. And up until now, surprisingly, it hadn't.
But recently, Arc System put up a sale that included Seisou no Amazoness! Over 50% off! Putting aside exact money conversion, it's like buying a $50 game at $20! Of course I would buy it. Best chance yet.
BTW, I think there is still a couple days before the sale ends, so buy it cheap while you can. Of course, JP 3DS only. I don't even think this game has been localized anywhere else.

And yeah, I don't actually have time to play it right now.
Currently Playing: Monster Hunter XX, Fire Emblem Echoes
To Play: Fire Emblem Thracia, Monster Hunter Stories, Seisou no Amazoness, Mercenary Saga 2

As you can see, the list is... quite long....

New Game! (゚Д゚)

Not that much of a surprise, but yeah, Fire Emblem: Echoes.
The past two games turned into a galge, so I hope Echoes finally fixes that.... You know, maybe actually doing war instead of magical Doraemon dimensions, having babies, and sexually harassing your army? Yeah.

And BTW, as far as I have played so far, it has been quite good. The characters, at the least, don't slam their "unique characteristics" into your face.
...Outside of the stupid girl obsessed with the protagonist and the okama. Well, we couldn't get a perfect score, but it's close enough.

Oh, and my progress is kinda slow for this game because I am still doing Monster Hunter XX.

I have absolutely no use for this thing...
