Game Sales of the Week (7/23/14)

I look forward to the day my "summer vacation" will be able to end. (And I kind of not look forward to it too)

Anyways, fair week in sales:

-Surprisingly? A very strong second week for Youkai Watch 2, passing through the 1.5 million mark and positioning itself for 2 million in another week.

-Not surprising that it is at the top and somewhat that it is not #1, but Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke comes in 2nd, with a bit over 90,000. A work from SCE, BTW.
The original game was in 1999 and very old, so there is little point to compare with it. The remake? for the PSP did 88,694. Comparing so, it looks pretty much like only original fans cared much about it? Not bad still, I guess.

-New game for the Atelier series, Shirley(?)'s Atelier enters 3rd with 43,000+.
This is... well, not good, really. Just a few of the recent games, but...
43,744 <-- This time
If you check the release calender for this series, you will see that AT LEAST three games for this series is released IN a year. Goes to show more isn't always better, eh?

-Other than that, some nameless new games on the bottom half of the list.
Yes, you see Wii Sports Club really low on the list, but remember that the game was already downloadable. From the information I collected (didn't try that hard though), the download version is free and then you purchase tickets for games? But this package version released this week requires you to buy the game itself, but the sports inside are free? Something like that.
Anyways, it really isn't a new game, but a package version of an already released game.
